Tracking status is the core of any order monitoring system. VisibleLogistics gives all partners a flexible way to record and share status updates.

Update order status
Update an order's status to record how far an order has progressed through its supply chain life-cycle.

When you enter a status update, you choose a new status for an order. A status update is one of:
- confirmation - new information that the order is progressing normally
- exception - information about the order not going to plan, such as a delay
- completion - information that the delivery process is complete, one way or another, such as delivery or cancellation.
Specify a date and time for the status update, which defaults to the current date and time. This gives you the option to record exactly when an event occurred.
Enter an optional description for the status, if you want to provide more information such as a pick up address for an 'Order ready to ship' status
Automatic status update notifications
When you or a third party updates an order status, VisibleLogistics automatically sends the status update notification.

View status history
The order details page links to a status history, that shows all of the updates in chronological order.
